OFF THE PITCH

Draft: these words aren't final yet.

How Off the Pitch uses your child's information

Who we are

Off the Pitch is run by SpaceReady LLC. Questions or requests: support@spaceready.com.

What we keep about her

Her name, jersey number and team (from the league's published roster), and any name you add for her. The stats we make from her team's game film, like minutes played, passes and top speed, and the Digital Coach profile we write from them. Photos from the team photo shoot, if her team uses that feature. We never keep her birthday, address, school, phone or email, and she never has an account or gets messages from the app.

What we keep about you

Your email and first name, the permission you signed, and a short record of when you opened the app and which screens you used, so we can fix what breaks. What you send through Send feedback is kept a year, and that record of visits 90 days. Family members who open a link you sent them don't sign in: we keep the name you gave the link and a one-way code made from the last 4 digits of their phone, never the digits.

What we do with it

Show the team's schedule, results and game film to the team's families. Show you, her coach and the team's owners her stats and her Digital Coach profile (a positive summary of her game with one thing to practise, written by AI from her numbers). Her coach and the owners also see fuller coaching notes that aren't in your view. Her photo may appear in graphics in the app with her first name. If she moves to a new team on the app, her new coach can see her record.

If no parent signs

Her family doesn't get the app. She stays on the team's roster and in Live Game, where she can be picked as a scorer, and her coach and the team's owners can still see her stats.

Who else touches it

Only the companies that run the app, each for that job alone: Cloudflare (hosting and storage), Clerk (sign-in), Neon (our database), Neo4j (a team graph that holds players as league ids, with no names), GitHub (our private code and write-ups), Google (a private photo folder) and Anthropic (the AI that writes the Digital Coach profiles). We never sell her information or use it for advertising.

What isn't ours

Rosters are published by the leagues. Game film belongs to her team and its film provider (such as Veo or Trace). Questions about film go to them.

How long we keep it

While she plays, including if she moves to a new team, so her history stays together. Live Game clips are deleted after 48 hours. The permission you signed is kept a year longer than her data, as the record that you agreed.

Your choices

Sign in and open More › Account › Your player's data. You can see her stats and profile and ask us to fix them. Then there are two choices.

Deactivate. Nothing we made about her shows or gets used, and your family's use of the app ends. If she joins another team on the app, you can bring it all back. After 2 years it's deleted unless she comes back.

Delete. Her stats, write-ups and any pictures we hold are gone for good, within 30 days, and your family's use of the app ends.

Either way, her name stays on rosters as long as she plays, and game film stays with her team. Team totals stay, without her in them. Old copies in backups and our code history can take longer to clear.

Only a parent signed in to the app can make these choices. One parent's signature is enough.

Last changed: draft of November 1, 2026. If we change what we do, we ask you to sign again before it applies to her.
